STEM CELL THERAPY

 

This is “cutting edge” therapy for joint disease and tendon injuries.  This is the ultimate in non-medicinal care of arthritis.  The concept and potential benefits are incredible.  We obtain a bit of fat tissue from the patient and send it to the laboratory that harvests and purifies the stem cells from the fat.  The patient’s purified, sterile, stem cells are sent back to us for injection into the needed sites.

 

Stem cells have the capability of differentiating into other cell types that are needed within an injured tissue.  For example, these cells can become cartilage cells if injected into a joint or tendon cells if injected into a tendon; both of these tissues are notoriously slow to recover from injury.  Using the body’s own cells to heal itself is the ultimate in safety and repair.
