After graduating from veterinary school Dr. Franklin worked in the Denver area for 2 years. This hospital was extremely busy giving him extensive experience in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care.
Dr. Franklin then worked in Fort Collins, CO for 1 year at an exceptional small animal hospital; which was a member American Animal Hospital Association.
Then Dr. Franklin was “hijacked” and taken to Utah. This large, busy practice was located in the southwestern part of the Salt Lake City. At this practice he was involved in all aspects of veterinary practice and performed most of the major surgeries. During his time in Salt Lake, he became certified to perform Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomies (T.P.L.O.) This is an advanced surgery used for the correction of “ACL” injuries.
