Please meet Dr. Gretchen Lamb, D.V.M., and Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist

Dr. Lamb is a native of Cody, Wyoming and received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and German from Grinnell College in Iowa. Dr. Lamb received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She has a variety of personal experiences, which make her a well grounded individual. She spent a year in Germany, on scholarship, and became proficient in the German language and culture. She has experience managing a resort lodge in Cody where she had many duties, including those of wrangler/caretaker of the lodge’s horse and mule herd and a being a guide for trips into Yellowstone National Park. She can expand on many more when you visit with her.

Dr. Lamb has received additional training in acupuncture and has earned the classification of Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. The American Veterinary Medical Association considers veterinary acupuncture to be a valid modality within the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery. Used either by itself or in conjunction with “Western” medicine, veterinary acupuncture can assist the body to heal itself by affecting certain physiological changes.

Her professional interests focus on horses and small animals. Her personal interests focus on her family and her pets.
