  Meet Paco — an outdoorsy, big‑hearted guy who’s happiest when he’s soaking up fresh air or cruising around on a good car ride.

  🌲 Favorite things to do together: Enjoying the outdoors and going for rides.

  🏊 Does Paco enjoy swimming? Nope — he’ll pass on the water, thanks.

  🧸 Favorite toy: Hard to choose… there are so many toys in his world.

  🍖 Favorite treat: Bone marrow treats — absolutely irresistible.

  🛏️ Favorite place to sleep: Right in bed with his humans and the whole “woof pak.” Everyone piles in, everyone’s happy.

  🌟 Special talents: Not big on tricks, but he can get every dog in the neighborhood barking — a true community organizer.

  🤣 Quirky or funny behavior: He loves to flop onto his back and kick all four paws in the air like he’s doing his own goofy little dance.

  Meet Bonnie — a truly remarkable girl who’s showing us all how to age with grace, grit, and plenty of tail wags. At 16 years old, she’s still enjoying life’s simple joys and making every day count.

  🌄 Favorite things to do together: Heading up to Lake City for walks, fresh mountain air, and a good swim.

  🏊 Does Bonnie enjoy swimming? Absolutely — she still takes short, refreshing dips like a champ.

  🧸 Favorite toy: Any stuffed animal she can get her paws on.

  🍃 Favorite treat: Greenies — always a hit.

  🛏️ Favorite place to sleep: The garage, her cozy and familiar spot.

  🌟 Special talents: Just being alive and thriving at 16 is impressive enough — but still swimming? That’s Bonnie-level extraordinary.

  🤣 Quirky or funny behaviors: Rolling on her back with pure joy, especially when there’s snow on the ground.

  We’re honored to celebrate Bonnie this month — a senior sweetheart who reminds us that every age is a good age to enjoy life.

  

  

  
• Henrick

  🎉🐾 Meet Our April Pet of the Month: Henrick! 🐾🎉 Proudly loved by Jason and Melanie

  Say hello to Henrick — the handsome guy stealing the spotlight this month! This sweet pup lives his best life with his family, and we can totally see why he was nominated.

  🌟 Favorite things to do: Henrick is all about the simple joys — going on walks, splashing around in the river (but absolutely not swimming), playing tug‑of‑war, and then curling up for a good nap. Honestly, same.

  🧸 Favorite toy: A cheap little teddy bear from Habitat that he lovingly destroys before bedtime. It’s a nightly ritual and he takes it very seriously.

  🍖 Favorite treat: Ol’ Roy — classic, crunchy, and perfect.

  🎩 Special talents: No fancy tricks, but he’s got plenty of charm and personality to make up for it.

  🤣 Quirky behavior: Every morning, Henrick kicks off the day with what his family calls “morning insanity” — zooming around with his two best buddies, Goose and Higgins. It’s the kind of chaos that makes mornings worth waking up for.

• Bubba

  We’re excited to introduce our March Pet of the Month, Bubba! 

  Bubba belongs to his wonderful owner, Deb, and he’s a very special pup.

  💦Bubba and Deb love spending time together going for walks, and when the weather is nice, Bubba enjoys swimming in the river at Riverbottom.

  🧸His favorite toy is a stuffed bear, and when it comes to treats, Bubba isn’t picky—he loves them all! When it’s time to rest, Bubba’s favorite place to sleep is snuggled up with his “brother,” Tavish.

  🐾Bubba is an especially smart and very loving Basset Hound. One of his unique talents is that he’s a retrieving Basset, which is pretty rare!

  🐶One of Bubba’s cutest quirks is how much he loves being around people and other dogs. He can often be found watching out the front window, hoping for visitors to stop by.

  

  

  

  

• Ronan

  Meet Ronan — the very good boy owned by Andy & Maria! 💙

  Ronan’s favorite adventures include camping with his humans and—yes—he loves to swim! 🌲💦 When he’s not exploring the great outdoors, you can usually find him chasing his favorite tennis ball, enjoying some jerky treats, or snoozing comfortably on the couch.

  He’s got some great skills too—Ronan knows how to shake hands 🤝 and has the funniest habit of howling whenever he squeaks a tennis ball 😂.

  But here’s what truly makes Ronan special: he’s one of our blood donors and has helped save another pet’s life ❤️‍🩹. Talk about a real-life superhero! 🦸‍♂️
